Student Intern

Hi, I’m Kimberly M. James~

Feeling overwhelmed by life transitions, emotional stress, or relationship challenges?

Maybe you’re feeling stuck, burned out, disconnected from yourself or your partner, and unsure what comes next. You don’t have to navigate it alone—I’m here to help you make sense of your experiences and move forward with clarity and confidence.

I specialize in helping women and couples process emotional overwhelm, strengthen relationships, and navigate meaningful transitions. As a clinical mental health counseling student intern, I offer a warm, collaborative, and deeply reflective space where you can feel seen and supported. My approach blends practical tools—including mindfulness, CBT, and narrative therapy—with deeper exploration of identity, values, and emotional patterns that may be keeping you from living fully.

In work with couples, I provide a safe and supportive environment to improve communication, heal old wounds, and rebuild connection. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, recovering from betrayal, or trying to reconnect amid life’s pressures, I’ll walk with you as a compassionate guide—not a fixer.

My goal is for you to feel empowered, understood, and aligned with your true self. Healing is possible, and it begins with one honest conversation at a time.

I am currently offering sessions through the Low Cost Program at Seasons under the supervision of Rebecca Matte, LMFT-QS.
