Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern

Hi, I’m Nichole Visnesky, MSW~

Do you find yourself worrying endlessly? Do you feel isolated from the people you care about? Do you feel like your mental illness dictates your life? Are you having trouble coping with your identity within the LGBTQIA+ community?

I’m passionate about collaborating with you to find tools and insights that make life more manageable. Together we will learn about what causes your symptoms and find skills that work for you to make them manageable. We will work together so you can reconnect with yourself, your loved ones, and your community. Living with mental illness does not have to be an endless struggle and thriving is possible.

I’m a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. I graduated with my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Temple University in 2021. I’ve worked with people across adulthood. I have special training in psychiatric rehabilitation. I have experience working in addiction and severe mental illness. I have a special interest and experience working with the transgender community. My philosophy is that everyone has value and can embrace that value no matter where they are in life.I want my clients to feel safe and supported.

Working with me you’ll find that I will gently challenge you to reach your goals. I became a therapist because we all can use someone to help guide us when we’ve lost our way.

When I’m not wearing my therapist hat, I’m a homebody and enjoy creating things through mediums like sewing and watercolor, while listening to podcasts. I like to travel, especially when visiting family.
