A Season for Healing Starts Here

Do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, sadness, or stress more days than not? Are you navigating a major life change, grieving a loss, or struggling to understand recurring patterns in your life? At Seasons Psychotherapy Associates, we believe that meaningful change is possible—and individual therapy is often the first step toward that transformation.

Whether you’re seeking support for a specific issue or exploring personal growth more broadly, our therapists are here to help you gain clarity, build emotional resilience, and move forward with purpose.

Grow Together—Support, Share, and Heal in Community

At Seasons Psychotherapy Associates, we offer a variety of group options—including therapy groups, support groups, and psychoeducational groups—to help people connect, learn, and grow together. Whether it’s building coping skills, navigating life’s challenges, or simply finding comfort in knowing you’re not alone, groups provide a safe and supportive environment led by a trained clinician. Through shared experiences and guided discussion, participants gain new perspectives, practical tools, and a sense of community that can make the journey toward healing and growth feel less overwhelming.

What Is Group Therapy?

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy where a small group of individuals meets regularly with one or two licensed therapists to explore common themes, share experiences, and support one another’s growth.

Groups may be structured around:
• Anxiety and stress management
• Grief and loss
• Trauma recovery
• Parenting or relationship challenges
• Emotional regulation and mindfulness
• Life transitions or identity development

Each group is designed to foster a sense of safety, acceptance, and shared understanding. You’ll have the opportunity to give and receive support, develop insight, and practice new skills in a real-time, relational setting.

What Are the Benefits of Group Therapy?

Group therapy offers several unique benefits:
• Feel less alone through shared experiences
• Gain multiple perspectives and insight
• Practice communication and coping skills in a safe space
• Build connection, confidence, and compassion
• Reduce shame and self-judgment
• Learn from others who are further along in similar journeys

Group therapy may be especially helpful when used alongside individual therapy—or on its own as a transformative healing process.

What Are Support Groups?

In addition to therapeutic groups, Seasons also offers support groups—a more informal, non-clinical option that does not require a diagnosis or mental health treatment plan.

Support groups are facilitated by trained staff or student interns and are designed to offer:
• Psychoeducation on common mental health and life topics
• Peer support and shared experiences in a welcoming environment
• A chance to build connection without the pressure of “doing therapy”

Support groups may focus on areas such as:
• Coping with stress or burnout
• Navigating caregiving or chronic illness
• Adjusting to life transitions
• Building community and emotional wellness

These groups are open to anyone seeking support, and participation does not require an intake session, diagnosis, or ongoing therapy commitment. When available, they offer a helpful starting point for people who are curious about therapy but not yet ready to dive into one-on-one counseling.

Availability of Groups at Seasons

Please note: group and support group offerings are not always available.

When a new group is forming, we’ll announce it on our website, via email updates, and sometimes through your individual therapist. Each group has a limited number of seats and may be held in person or via telehealth, depending on topic and location.

To stay informed:
• Ask your therapist or intake coordinator if any groups are starting soon
• Let us know in your intake form that you’re interested in group or support group options
• Check our website regularly for announcements about upcoming groups
